Summary

The use of diets containing maize and sugar beet leaf ensilage instead of fodder beet in the feeding of milked Merino ewes between the 10^th and 17^th week of lactation had no influence on the quantity and quality of milk except for protein content. Negative influence on the production and quality of cottage cheese made of ensilage-fed ewes¹ milk was not observed.
