Summary

The use of pressure and differential pressure transducers in combination with a high speed data acquisition system and a personal computer has allowed for the possibity to create a semi-automatic test system called DAS-M, capable of executing milking machine installation mechanical tests according to the ISO 6690:1996 International Standard more rapidly and with a much greater degree of accuracy. Furthermore, this system enables the study and the recording of vacuum fluctuation in different points of the machine during its normal operation.
