Summary

As goats represent a superior dairy animal, twenty nine does were used to study the effect of lactation stage and type of birth on milk composition in biweekly. Results indicated that total solids %, fat %, lactose % and SNF% were significantly affected by stage of lactation (P<0.05), while protein%, ash%, Fe content and Zn content showed highly significant effect (P<0.01). Most of the corresponding determinants showed no significant effect of type of birth of kids born on composition of goat’s milk.
