Considerable structural change is underway in most European markets, which strongly affects the nature and types of supplier-retailer relationships. The aim of this study was to examine Supplier-Retailer Collaboration (SRC) in the Greek food sector. Initially, we reviewed literature on the structural characteristics of trade collaborations and developed a three-dimensional construct of SRC, which includes trade marketing, supply chain coordination and relationship quality. Using extensive quantitative research we then examined the hypotheses that each of three variables is positively linked to collaboration efficiency and we calculated the strength of associations.
