Over the years companies have witnessed a myriad of problems in chain- and network collaboration. Some of these well-known problems are divergent interest, a lack of trust, power differentials and inadequate co-ordination mechanisms. To identify the most compelling problems in this area and to improve chain- and network collaboration in the agri-food industry, the KLICT (Chains, Logistics and ICT) foundation has set up a wide variety of projects in the past four years. In many of these projects tools were developed to improve collaboration between chain and network partners in the fields of logistics, quality, standardisation, innovation and product development, and marketing. This poster presents the most effective tools. For example, a tool is detailed for identifying, measuring and dividing potential synergy advantages in logistical networks. With this presentation we hope to improve future collaboration in chains and networks.
