This paper discusses the development of a decision support system to help wheat producers and flour millers make more intelligent and informed decisions about their production processes. Recent improvements in both management techniques and production technologies have increased the need for gathering and sharing information so that both suppliers' and customers' needs are met at each stage of the production lifecycle. The decision support system will help organize this information and give users the opportunity to compare the impact of decisions on their production and marketing processes as well as upon the wheat supply chain system as a whole.
