Abstract

This essay honors Amos Yong by examining his contributions to public theology and their resonance within Romanian Pentecostalism. It begins with a succinct analysis of Yongâs political theology, as reflected in his books The Spirit Poured Out on All Flesh and In the Days of Caesar. It then discusses the most significant Romanian Pentecostal responses to Yongâs political theology. Finally, it proposes a Pentecostal theology of public life inspired by Yongâs work and methodology but based on the model of communio sanctorum.
