Quorum Sensing (QS) is the process of communication between bacteria by molecules called autoinducers. Many of the processes that bacteria owe their pathogenesis, such as biofilm formation or secretion of virulence factors are regulated via QS. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to deepen the definition of inhibition mechanisms known as Quorum Quenching, focusing on plant-microbe interaction.
