Abstract

The objective of this chapter is to present some comparative highlights of the rules set forth in the Book Three of the recent Chinese Civil Code under an outer perspective. The focus of the chapter is Part One of the referred Book, which contains the general provisions ruling contract practice in China since January 1st, 2021.
