Abstract

The procedure for the conclusion, performance and termination of international treaties of Kazakhstan is determined by the Law of RK of 30 May 2005, “On International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. The chapter analyzes different types of treaties concluded by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the treaty-making process, the denunciation and suspension of the operation of international treaties of Kazakhstan, and the issues of application of treaties by Kazakhstani national courts. The chapter also explains the position of decisions rendered by the Eurasian Economic Commission in the legal system of Kazakhstan.
