Cette Ã©tude propose une double approche â critique et fictionnelle â des relations entre Marguerite Duras et Simone de Beauvoir. Dans le sillage de Jacques Dubois, Franc Schuerewegen, Pierre Bayard et Michel Charles, cette activitÃ© crÃ©atrice, qui donne naissance Ã un pastiche du style Ã©pistolaire de Duras et Beauvoir, est employÃ©e ici avec pour horizon de mettre au jour la faÃ§on dont la communautÃ© fÃ©ministe construit, donc, invente ses textes. Notre dÃ©marche met Ã lâhonneur le rÃ´le des lecteurs assimilÃ©s Ã des crÃ©ateurs et des inventeurs, et propose, non de retrouver des Åuvres perdues, mais dâamener Ã la lumiÃ¨re des Åuvres possibles, dans un exercice de Â«âcrÃ©ation en critiqueâÂ» (Thibaudet) â faisant Ã©cho Ã Stanley Fish pour qui Â«â[l]âinterprÃ©tation nâest pas lâart dâanalyser (construing) mais lâart de construire (constructing)âÂ».

Abstract

This study proposes a double approach â critical and fictional â to the relationship between Marguerite Duras and Simone de Beauvoir. In the wake of Jacques Dubois, Franc Schuerewegen, Pierre Bayard and Michel Charles, this creative activity, which gives rise to a pastiche of the epistolary style of Duras and Beauvoir, is employed here with the aim of bringing to light the way in which the feminist community constructs, and therefore invents, its texts. Our approach honours the role of readers as creators and inventors, and proposes not to find lost works, but to bring possible works to light, in an exercise of âcreation en critiqueâ (Thibaudet) â that echoes Stanley Fish, for whom âinterpretation is not the art of construing but the art of constructingâ.
