The furniture from the northeast corner of the tomb was in poor condition when it was found in 1957, preserved as a scatter of degraded wooden fragments interspersed with the remains of textiles. The most recognizable elements were fragmentary furniture legs in three sizes, recorded by Young as belonging to short, medium, and high stools. These became known as "stool #1" (short legs), "stool #2" (long legs), and "stool #3" (medium legs), although Young thought that the last two objects were possibly tables or stands. The medium-sized stool (stool #3) had four legs that were 30cm long. The four short legs ("stool #1") were of the same type as the medium legs, although there was only one pair of mortises at the top of each leg. The four legs of "stool #2" were not simply longer versions of the short and medium legs.
