Abstract

This chapter concludes by arguing that there is something valuable about finding a renewed appreciation for our multifaceted onenesses amidst contemporary fears and fights directed at bridges that bring people together. African moral philosophies can be usefully recruited to sharpen attention to this. While the quest to see our mongrelity for all it is is utopian, the mongrelisation we can aspire to cultivate can lead us to better ways of living with others. So, may we live our days in ways that rehumanise our histories and make the future more inviting.
