In an engaging and relatable way, this chapter aims to show that human relations with multiple forms of others tell the story that we are mixed and crossed beings. Its goal is to reflect that our existence is bound up with other beings, whatever form they may take. Concertedly, while holding that socio-cultural strands of our lives are intertwined with biological ones, it explains that to say we are mongrels is to find that all human achievements result from collective actions. This position is presented in a way that challenges racist essentialisms.
