Abstract

Discussion of the higher or first soul: i.e. soul considered not in relation to bodily instrumentality. The chapter comprises a detailed account of the presentation of this principle in the commentary on Ennead I, followed by a similar account of the depiction of the psychological principle in the commentary on Ennead IV.
