Beginning students are advised not to attempt to memorize the various paradigms presented here, unless they have prodigious memories. Rather, they should simply remember that whenever they try to decipher a weak form, if the more common types (I-[ARABIC TEXT] and [ARABIC TEXT], I-[ARABIC TEXT], II-[ARABIC TEXT] and [ARABIC TEXT], or III-[ARABIC TEXT]) do not yield intelligible results, they should try a geminate root. Some of the geminate roots are quite common, and students will soon learn to recognize them (e.g., [ARABIC TEXT]).
