Chapter Summary

A pronoun is a word that stands for (Latin pro) a noun. In Hebrew the independent personal pronouns are only the subjects of clauses (e.g., I, you, she, he). The possessive (e.g., my, your, her, his) and objective (e.g., me, you, her, him) pronouns are only suffixes in Hebrew and are not independent words.

A conjunction joins two words, phrases, or clauses together. The Hebrew equivalent of English “and” is a prefixed [ARABIC TEXT].
