Acknowledgments
This book has been in the pipeline for over two years. It started with an idea that was included in the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria’s project proposal under the Pan Africa State Accountability Project, coordinated by Plan International African Union Liaison Office.
The chapters in the collection where first submitted in 2022 and since several internal reviews and updated versions have been submitted culminating in the collection of chapters in this book. We would like to thank the authors for their patience, contribution, dedication and enthusiasm in responding to several demands from the editors.
