Therese Martin, (Ph.D. 2000, University of Pittsburgh), is Senior Researcher and Head of the Department of Medieval Studies at the Instituto de Historia, CSIC, Madrid. Her recent research investigates the intersections of medieval Iberiaâs multiple cultures; women as vectors of cross-cultural exchange; and the geographic resonances of treasured objects.
