This article presents the results obtained in a methodological research project comprised of a discussion group, a questionnaire and a case study. Our purpose is to identify the training needs of adults in 21st-century society. We have tried to go beyond mere quantitative and qualitative paradigms and have adopted a paradigmatic complementarity model.
