Abstract

This chapter is about how Ludwig Warschauer, a man who claimed to be a brilliant inventor and engineer, came to found a Technical School in Hutchinson Internment Camp on the Isle of Man, and the lengthy MI5 investigation intended to expose Warschauer as a German spy, whom investigators believed to have been sent to Britain on behalf of the Gestapo.
