The editors of this volume would like to use the opportunity to thank two retiring series editors, whose long-standing and tireless dedication to the series have ensured and maintained its high quality over the years. Peter Houtzagers worked as an editor of this series from 2000 until 2024. Janneke Kalsbeek became a series editor in May 2000 and has fulfilled this role until May 2025. We congratulate her on this 25th anniversary. We also thank her for her commitment and involvement in the earlier stages of the creation of this volume.
