Abstract

This book chapter is about the author’s experiences with educators from different parts of the world who suffered from intense stress and anxiety due to the changes in the mode of teaching, financial situation, or personal relationships during the COVID-19 pandemic. An online public forum called the Facing Crises with Equanimity (FCE) Forum was implemented for teachers and anyone from the participants’ communities to share their knowledge in contemplative practices that could help enhance both physical and mental well-being. The forum covered various topics, such as stress management, anger management, death grieving, healthy diet, and more. This chapter includes the interpretation of seven sessions from the forum and several mindfulness practices for promoting well-being in uncertain times.
