Ce panorama de la rÃ©ception de Proust au BrÃ©sil dÃ©bute avec une approche des principaux Ã©lÃ©ments culturels qui expliquent les affinitÃ©s avec la France ainsi quâun profil gÃ©nÃ©ral du premier lectorat â francophone et francophile â de lâÅuvre proustienne. Quelques Ã©vÃ©nements de cette rÃ©ception se dÃ©marquent au fil des annÃ©es, depuis les premiÃ¨res critiques parues dans la presse jusquâÃ la troisiÃ¨me traduction intÃ©grale de la Recherche. Le travail de spÃ©cialistes tels que Maria Marta Oliveira (1993) et Ãtienne Sauthier (2021) nous guident dans cet itinÃ©raire forcÃ©ment simplifiÃ©, mais qui permet de montrer la diversitÃ© et lâactualitÃ© de lâintÃ©rÃªt pour Proust au BrÃ©sil.
