Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to incorporate the phenomenon of new social movements: peace, ecological and feminist into the conceptual apparatus of non-Marxian historical materialism. The explanation of these movements is possible owing to the fact that mechanisms of solidaristic social development have been incorporated into this theory. The solidaristic social development in the conditions of the so-called verge effect weakens the mechanisms of competition: both political and economic ones.
