Nishaad S. Lorengo is an artist studying Fine Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Reston, Virginia, Richmond, Virginia and New York City. He has received a national gold medal for his work from the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. The cover is inspired by a series of words and phrases the editors of this volume shared with him including ‘interrogate, create, change, disrupt, voice, amplify, deconstruct, reconstruct, valuing/honoring voice, imagine/imagination, liberate/emancipate, involvement and engagement and participation’.
