Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to present a study conducted in the context of initial teacher training, exploring the intersection of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and the affective dimension. Specifically, pre-service teachers are trained in the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence to create educational comics as teaching materials. These comics should allow teachers to work with students on the affective dimension, a crucial factor in enhancing learning outcomes and fostering overall personal development. In particular, the comics should address the theme of empathy. This chapter provides insight into the practical implementation of these concepts within real teaching environments, demonstrating how their integration can be effectively approached.
