"This impeccable edition, which presents the text in a nice typographic form, is supplemented with a rich apparatus of notes that emphasize the intertextual relations of this anthology with other titles of the Arabic literature. [...] Indexes of the Koranic verses, Prophetic traditions, verses of poetry, proper names, places and an exhaustive bibliography complement this accurate edition that adds a precious pearl to the necklace of Arabic adab literature."
