Abstract

This chapter elaborates the main practices of the Chinese government in safeguarding the rights and interests of citizens in the social security system in the following five aspects: the framework of the social security system, the system construction, coverage, level of protection, and public service system. The chapter summarizes the Chinese governmentâs basic experience in the field of social security.
