Abbreviations
Sigla and abbreviations generally follow The SBL Handbook of Style, 2nd ed. (Atlanta, SBL Press, 2014). Sigla for the texts of papyri and inscriptions follow the edition cited. Documentary sources are abbreviated according to John F. Oates, William H. Willis, et al., Checklist of Editions of Greek, Latin, Demotic and Coptic Papyri, Ostraca and Tablets, https://papyri.info/docs/checklist.
In addition to abbreviations found in The Handbook of Style, the following are used:
