The author: Vartan Matiossian is a historian and literary scholar living in the United States. He received his PhD from the Institute of History, National Academy of Sciences, Armenia. He is the author of ten books in Armenian, English, and Spanish, including The Politics of Naming the Armenian Genocide: Language, History, and ‘Medz Yeghern.’
