This article explores the recent experiences of displaced Kurdish women, based on outputs of a qualitative field research conducted in Berlin, between 2021 and 2022. Situating their displacement within the broader context of Kurdish forced migrationâintensified by the conflicts of the 2010s in the Middle Eastâit examines the intersectional challenges they face, considering factors such as gender, ethnicity, class, religion, and refugeeness. The study also highlights their resilience and agency in navigating and rebuilding their lives in Germany.
