A.E. Akintayo
is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Law, University of Lagos. He has published extensively on criminal justice administration.
Rufus Akinyele
is a Professor of African History and Chair of the Department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos. His articles have appeared in high impact journals including African Affairs, Asian and African Studies, African Studies Review and Africa Development. Akinyele is on the Editorial Advisory Board of African Affairs (2008–2017).
Jackson A. Aluede
is Ph.D student in the Department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos. He is about to conclude his thesis titled, “Nigeria’s Foreign Policy and Trans-Border Crime: A Historical Analysis of the Nigeria-Benin Border, 1960–2013”.
Franca Attoh
is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Lagos. She is an alumnus of the CODESRIA Gender Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Security in Nigeria. She is also on the Council for the Development of Social Science in Africa.
Ayodele Atsenuwa
is the Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. Her research and teaching interests are Human Rights, Criminal Justice, Gender Studies, and Health Law.
Edmund Chilaka
obtained his PhD in History from the Department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos, specializing in Maritime History. He lectures at the School of Transport, Lagos State University, Ojoo. He is the publisher of a dredging and maritime magazine, Dredge, Drill and Hall, which can be accessed online.
Ton Dietz
is Professor Emeritus of the Study of African Development at the University of Leiden. He is currently engaged as a Senior Researcher at the African Studies
Samson Folarin
is a graduate of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos. He is a reporter with the Punch Newspaper in Lagos.
Gerrrie ter Haar
is Professor Emerita of Religion and Development at the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University, Rotterdam. She is a founding member of the African Association for the study of Religions [AASR]. Her research interests cover the areas of Human Rights, Conflict and Peace, Religion and Migration.
Ayodeji Olukoju
is a Professor of Maritime History, Department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos. Olukoju has held several fellowships including the Japan Foundation Academy, Chapman, Leventis and IDE (Japan) Fellowships. He has also served on the editorial boards of Journal of African History, African Economic History, and History in Africa. He is a former Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Imota, Nigeria.
Abiodun Oluwadare
is a Lecturer at the Department of Political Science and Defense Studies, Nigerian Defence Academy, Nigeria. His area of specialisation is Defence and Strategic Studies.
Paul Osifodunrin
is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos. He is an urban historian and has published extensively on crime in Lagos. Osifodunrin is a member of the Lagos Studies Association.
Leo Enahoro Otoide
is a Professor of History and International Diplomacy and current Dean of Arts, University of Benin, Nigeria. He was editor of the Journal of Historical Society of Nigeria [JHSN]. He has published widely in the areas of International Relations, Cultural History and Historiography. He is a Fellow of the Historical Society of Nigeria.
