Marc Geoffroy cannot rejoice at the publication of this and the following two volumes. He passed away unexpectedly on 23 April 2018. Many of his friends and colleagues participated in the three Parisian conferences that we organized together in 2015 and 2016. Their contributions are now together in a common effort to share knowledge and honor Marc’s erudition, generosity and humor.
