The aim of this study was to determine the effect of variable annual phosphorus and potassium fertilization on the content of the soluble forms of these elements in the soil. The study was conducted from 2007-2012 in an area of 57 ha where, in each year of the study, 119 soil samples were collected from the same sample sites (i.e. one sample per 0.48 ha). The equalization of the P and K contents in the test area using precision fertilization was confirmed, as determined by the decrease in the variance, standard deviation, and range of the content of elements in the soil. This was particularly evident after three years of variable fertilization. Precision fertilization with phosphorus and potassium reduced the variability of the optimal level of the elements and the soil fertility.
