The Conclusion provides a closure to the companionship forces of herd, virility, grace and omni-pregnancy, dealt with in the preceding chapters. The intricacies of each force, its conceptual scope and affective sway and, the way it makes and unmakes companionships are highlighted. The main issue addressed in the Conclusion is how the meaning of each companionship force differs between discursive human - human relationships and affective human - bovine companionships. For instance, the bio-productive and masculine connotations of the term ‘virility’, as available in discursive human - human relations diametrically differs from the gender-neutral, playful connotations of ‘virility’ as a force of human - bovine companionships. Apart from explaining the frictions embedded in comprehending the more-than-human significance of the forces of virility, grace and omni-pregnancy, the larger question of how a particular companionship reacts with the historical changes is also speculated as part of this Conclusion.
