First and foremost, the editors would like to acknowledge the work of women philosophers—the scholars and thinkers who have inspired this volume, in Russian-language philosophy and beyond—for their contributions, their tenacity, and their creativity in navigating a system that has not always welcomed their participation. This includes the many colleagues who collaborated with us on this project, providing feedback and supporting our work. It also includes the teachers and mentors, too many to name here, who have shaped our academic paths along the way. Their influence has been significant.
