Abstract

This chapter introduces the view of the God-like Entity known as extended modal pantheism. According to this view, the God-like Entity is the sum of all possible and impossible worlds, transcending both actual and possible worlds. Extended modal pantheism builds upon modal pantheism by incorporating impossible worlds, resulting in a framework where the God-like Entity encompasses the actual, possible, and impossible. While the inclusion of impossible worlds presents significant challenges, particularly within the context of modal pantheism, it is argued that several approaches to this extension are defensible. The chapter concludes by addressing several key problems in the philosophy of religion that emerge from this view.
