Abstract

The seventh chapter has as its theme human alienation and redemption. Human beings experiencing and causing confusion, the breakdown of relationships and the loss of meaning are related to Christ, their renewer. The chapter concentrates on biblical texts dealing with the possibilities of return to glory and to the joy for which we were created, as well as with the restoration of the image of God through Christ, in the church, and with the new creation.
