LâÅuvre romanesque de Bellanger se prÃ©sente, de prime abord, comme une entreprise profondÃ©ment balzacienne dans la mesure oÃ¹ il se fait le chroniqueur de son Ã©poque et des profondes transformations quâelle subit. Transformations territoriales dans LâAmÃ©nagement du territoire et dans Le Grand Paris, avÃ¨nement de la sociÃ©tÃ© dâinformation dans TÃ©lÃ©rÃ©alitÃ© et La SociÃ©tÃ© dâinformation, construction europÃ©enne dans Continent de la douceur. Notre texte cherche Ã montrer quâau-delÃ de cette tentation documentaire, ses textes sâattachent Ã analyser le lien entre le territoire, la longue durÃ©e et la superstructure, en espÃ©rant quâen sortira une forme de quintessence nationale. Or, cette quintessence se trouve Ã son tour ironisÃ©e par autant dâÃ©lÃ©ments contrefactuels, une WikipÃ©dia imaginaire qui constitue le propre de son imaginaire littÃ©raire.
