Anna Bąk-Średnicka is a senior lecturer (Ph.D.) in TESOL at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland, at the Institute of Literature and Linguistics. She has educated preservice TESOL teachers, conducted methodology courses, and published works in this field.
Anita Jagun is a Ph.D. student at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. Her publications focus on language teaching with particular emphasis on the use of modern technologies.
Marta Kwaśniewska is a research-and-teaching assistant with a Ph.D. at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. Her research is mainly focused on cognitive and corpus linguistics, especially in the context of environmental media discourse.
Oleg Leszczak is an associate professor with a Ph.D., Dr. habil. at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. He is the author of many publications (including 13 monographs) devoted to methodology of linguistics, discourse analysis, lingual semiotics, and others.
Aleksandra Matysiak is an assistant professor with a Ph.D. at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. Her research interests are English phonetics and phonology, second language acquisition, and sociolinguistics. She is the author of two monographs, seven book chapters, and a series of articles primarily focused on the acquisition of English pronunciation by L2 learners, acculturation and immigrants’ L2 speech.
Katarzyna Ostrowskaholds a Ph.D. in linguistics. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Discourse Research, Institute of Literary and Linguistics, Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and a deputy head of the Polish Culture and Language Center at the Faculty of Humanities. Her research interests include corpus and statistical linguistics, syntax and lexis of Polish book reportage, glottodidactics.
Agnieszka Rosińska-Mamej is an assistant professor with a Ph.D. at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. She is the author of two books devoted to requests in contemporary Polish, among others in the speech of elderly people: Przepraszam, ma pan może długopis? Prośba we współczesnej polszczyźnie, vol. 1: Prośba jako makroakt mowy (Kielce 2019), Przepraszam, ma pan może długopis? Prośba we współczesnej polszczyźnie, vol. 2: Jak proszą osoby star(sz)e i młod(sz)e (Kielce 2021), and about 50 scientific articles. Her research interests include pragmatics, language etiquette, discourse analysis, gerontology speech therapy.
Joanna Senderska is an associate professor with a Ph.D., Dr. habil. at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. Her publications mainly focus on syntax and lexis of the Polish language, as well as online communication and discourse.
Roman Starz is an associate professor with a Ph.D., Dr. habil. at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland. His main research interest is educational linguistics within which he focuses on problems with spelling (Odchylenia od norm ortograficznych w wypracowaniach uczniów w wieku 10–14 lat, Kielce 2000) and students’ vocabulary (Pola tematyczne opisu postaci w języku uczniów. Analiza lingwoedukacyjna, Kielce 2013).
Anna Wileczek is an associate professor with a Ph.D., Dr. habil. at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland and a head of the Department of Discourse Studies at the same university. She is the author of many publications analyzing, among others, young people’s language and discourse from a socio-cultural perspective, such as the monograph Kod młodości. Młodomowa w aspektach społeczno-kulturowych (PWN: Warszawa, 2018).
Julita Woźniak completed Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies in the Humanities at the University of Łódź. She is an academic teacher with a Ph.D. at Piotrków Academy in Piotrków Trybunalski. Her research interests focus on Critical Discourse Analysis, hate speech and intercultural communication. She is an intercultural coach, global educator and a member of SIETAR Polska. She conducted intercultural training for students, police officers, and refugee volunteers, among many others.
