Notational Conventions
The system of notation used in descriptions of the examples is the following:

the character situated in the utterance indicates the gesture phase; the character situated under the utterance contains the detailed description of the particular gesture phase. The character inserted in the utterance is situated after the word concurrent with the gesture stroke (mutumG1), even if the stroke is concurrent only with the first syllable(s) of the word (gudummawarG1) |
