Abstract

The objective of Chapter 7 is to bring the evidence of Kim Mun literary practices to the foreground and frame the argument for a literate Kim Mun culture. The chapter engages a range of primary sources, in particular letters and reference works, through an analysis of their content highlights key literary and linguistic devices indicative of an active literary tradition.
