Letters are referenced as follows: Collection and number of the letter in the collection, last name of the recipient, date (day/month/year). If one of these elements is unknown or not assigned, only the other data are stated. In Beverland’s letter collections addressed to one person (EG, EH, EV), the addressee is only stated if deviant from the main recipient of the collection. For the letters in the EG collection, two numbers are usually given: number in the LMU manuscript/number in the thesis by Wauters. For more on Beverland’s correspondence, see the Bibliography.
