The essays collected in this volume are the proceedings of an international conference held in Vienna (Austria) in September 2022. The initiative to this conference was born when the research cluster Transformations of Jewish and Christian Identities in the Past and Present (https://www.religionandtransformation.at/en/research/transformations-of-jewish-and-christians-identities-in-the-past-and-present/) was formed at the University of Vienna/Austria. This cluster is a collaborative effort between the two Faculties of Catholic and Protestant Theology, as well as the Research Centre Religion and Transformation, RaT (https://www.religionandtransformation.at/en/).
