Denise Aigle, emeritus professor at EPHE, is a specialist in history and Sufism in Iran. She has published monographs, collective works and numerous articles, including The Mongol Empire Between Myth and Reality (Brill, 2015, Saidi-Sirjani Prize 2016) and Moses in Persian Mystical Texts (Tehran, 2021).
