Welcome to a new volume of Erasmus Studies, our 46th and my 14th. In this issue, along with stimulating articles and incisive book reviews, we are also running an announcement, about Erasmus and AI. It was only a matter of time. Mark your calendars for Friday February 20, which will be Erasmus Day at RSA 2026 in San Francisco, my hometown. The Erasmus of Rotterdam Society will be hosting an Erasmus panel at 4:30â¯PM in Union Square 24, Tower 3 on the 4th floor of the Hilton San Francsico Union Square. Here are some new books on Erasmus worth mentioning: Bill Regierâs Erasmusâ Miniatures from Brill and a new volume from the Laboratorio Erasmo entitled I papati medicei tra Erasmo e Machiavelli. Religione, politica, cultura, which was unveiled at a recent conference on absolute power and the papacy. I would like to organize some panels for SCSC Chicago, so let me know if you are interested in giving a talk this Fall on Erasmus. See you soon.
