Abstract

Embarking on a new path is not always easy; it can be filled with challenges, surprises, and excitement. This chapter reflects on my journey to found poetry, drawing on both my personal and professional experiences. It all began with experimenting with drama as a creative teaching method, eventually leading to the use of found poetry in my doctoral thesis. The first section of this chapter delves into my personal context, allowing readers to follow along with my journey of personal growth, highlighting the tensions, obstacles, challenges and moments of joy. The second section explores my professional journey into the world of found poetry.
