About the Author
Sibonokuhle Ndlovu is an educationist, and currently a lecturer at the Ali Mazrui Centre for higher education studies, at the University of Johannesburg. She graduated with a doctorate degree from the School of Education, University of the Witwatersrand. She has experience with both special and inclusive education having taught learners with disabilities in both contexts. She has several peer reviewed publications around disability issues in general and the inclusion of students with disabilities in South African higher education. She is the lead editor of the book, Social, Educational, and Cultural Perspectives of Disabilities in the Global South and a core-editor in the book, Transformative curricular, pedagogies and epistemologies, published by the Brill publishers. Her work is framed in strong diversity inclusion, equity and social justice agenda.
