Donald B. Redford, MA, Ph.D. (Toronto), FRSC is Professor of Classics & Ancient Mediterranean Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. He has published widely on Egyptian History and Archaeology, including Egypt, Canaan and Israel in Ancient Times (Princeton, 1992) and The Wars in Syria and Palestine of Thutmose III (Leiden, 2003).
